This is a fantastic piece. I love the way that, even though I am not a piano player, I felt what you felt through your words. I imagine it would be a little more difficult with some one with no musical experience, but still powerful, nonetheless. All together a marvelous job.
I love how the poem is a portrait of how real the emotional pain of abuse is. I like the rhyme scheme, but just remember that it is okay to stray from the average build of a poem. While you did great with the words you used to rhyme, I encourage you to venture away and try a poem with less of the original scheme. But all in all, a well written poem.
