I must say, while this was short, it was filled with personality, as well as filled with a succinct description of history (In a brief notion). Short and sweet, and very intriguing. Are you a Scot? I am a quarter Scottish, although I've never been there. The Scots are full of a rich history and culture. And this was a great taste of it.
You stayed with the basic stylistic requirements of the specific syllabic style, which is impressive. Many times it is easy to get into an attitude of easiness and platitude, but you took a leap, which is commendable. This was a refreshing change in styles.
This was interesting. There was some really great imagery. My favorite line and something that I think really is true was the analogy to the stars. They seem so close yet are so far away. I think that described the piece. It was very sad at the end. I am presuming that death was the blurry woman, or at least calling him to the next life. It was very interesting.
Wow. That is my first reaction. Wow. This was amazing. Scarily amazing. Creepy almost. I am not on the technology craze train like many people, simply because of finances, but I completely empathized with the beginning. The 2012 incident was brilliant. Terrorists causing such a painful break on technology. I would have always imagined it as a solar flare or something. When you continued and went on to the more and more technology, I was beginning to wonder where you were going with it, but at the end, I was so sad.
It was very well written, a narrative that spelled doom from the very beginning, even if the reader didn't notice. This reminds me of 1984, only more doomsday geared. I really hope that this doesn't happen to us really. However, I do believe that this could really take the world by storm if you got it on the mainstream. Of course that would involve technology.
Really amazing.
