I feel the happines and then I feel the pain. Is that not what poetry is meant to do - make the person feel like they are in the poem and living it. You did a master of a job Ian. I assume you are writing about yourself and all I can say is just keep on loving her and letting her know whenever you can. Kids have a way of knowing or figuring out who loves them and who they can depend on.

I read your poem and there is only one problem with it," I DIDN"T WRITE IT". Seriously, it is a great poem and it held my interest from the start to the finish. I loved the way it flowed. You did an excellent job. Congratulations. Keep up the good work.
I love the way you describe how friendship evolves, using vines is excellent because it is true. Your way of describing how it feels when you are falling in love is wonderfull. And it is true we do change when we fall in love. I'm not really understanding why a person will fall apart from the inside out, but give me time to think about it and I may figure out what you are referring to. Very nice job.
