That is if one can read between the lines and understand that the genius of the "Wizard of Oz" gives this message in the most splendid entertaining way. Dorthy learns that happiness cannot be found in new adventures. Not in the Glitz and Glam of Golden Paths, not found thru your Friends, or Even from a Magical Wizard in the city of wishes come true. She had to discover that happiness can only be found in you own back yard! your heart, home, within yourself and the simplicity of what you already have to begin with! the rest is icing on a cake.
