Love it. I am a major winter/ fall kinda of gal and you hit the nail on the head repeatedly. I like how you added humor to the doldrums of summer the mosquitoes are a teeming is my favorite part. Good work your poem has both humor and insight I know I read it thrice. thank you for the laughs Mirror.
Hmmm I'm not sure what to make of this piece either. I like it. But what is it? a poem? literary fiction or self musings? I think I'll I will list it as the under current of human reasoning. I think the best part is how you manage to engage your reader into the your piece like it was a philosophical conversation between two people. The daunting heartbeat like bum bum bum! added much to your work. I don't really have a critique but in this case I guess that is a good thing. Mirror.
Interesting I never heard of a tri-jan poem but from what you said early on it sounds like you did a good job. The only thing I would suggest next time is to harmonize the poem a bit more in the begining you started with snow then ended with wind. Don't get me wrong as aforementioned I think you did well considering the strict guidelines you had to work within. keep rhyming. Mirror.
Bravo!!! I have always liked a little poetry. But your poem really hits at the heart of what stops us as writers. We all have this passion to live off our pen but either you don't have the money to stay at home and write, or you don't have the time. Well done. Making a nameless character into someone you care about and want to get to know is a skill that still eludes me. once again I say well done. Mirror.
