Review of Addiction  Open in new Window.

Yes, this was good. It flows to the point that I'm hooked by all what you say. It expresses (perhaps even more) exactly how I feel about writing, that there is this love, hate dyanamic going on but at the end of the day, or even a week, or month, I still find myself going back to it, again and again. I guess some people would call it 'a calling' but when I start to consider that, I mentally push it aside as I feel it's being arrogant. I'm happy it got you while you are young, that you realise your abilities, and keep developing it. I like the fact your piece does not possess any cliches and is not pretentious. Yes, Erika, you can write.

Review of A Mother's Advice  Open in new Window.

I liked this. It drew me in and the dialogue is real (especially the mother’s) – I can see the characters!! I also like the fact that as you are reading, you expect ‘Mom’ to be the one who was cheated on but instead, it is the other way round. A totally unexpected twist and a nice subtle way of advising readers in similar situations, an alternative solution to their problem. The story is brief and possibly because your prose is precise, it could have been expanded – maybe have one sister counteract the other or for the mother to have an in depth flash back. But overall I enjoyed this and look forward to reading more of your work.

This is interesting. Would you believe I am currently reading Angelolgy by Danielle trussoni. A riveting read. I take it that you are writing a thriller. I like Your descriptions of the angel but it's the protagonist that will really hold the attention. Is this something you have researched? Will there be any biblical references? Is the protagonist spiritual/religious? I would be interested in seeing how this story develops. So far your style suits the gentleness of the angel and the protagonist. The environment, is it hot and sunny, or is it cold and misty?

Hiya!! This is my second time round. I began a few months back but had to give up due to some domestic problems. That has now calmed down, and hope I can 'make' the time and properly contribute, that is, submitting as well as reviewing. Many thanks!!

Hiya!
I'm not totally new. I began a few months ago then slipped out because I had too much on my plate (still do), but the writing bug will keep coming back leaving me with no choice but to pay attention. So here I am. I hope I'm here to stay. Thx!!
