This is a pretty average poem. I would consider resisting the urge to rhyme unless you can find a good reason to, as not all your lines rhyme and some of the ones that do appear somewhat forced. It's also very general with little to no specific images. I like where you are going with this poem, so perhaps you can write about your personal experiences with reading.

I know you wrote this in the 6th grade, and if that's where you are right now, I may have given this too critical of a review. However, if you are an adult or read this later as an adult, consider my advice. You're on a good start! :)

Sincerely,
Michael Cox

This was an interesting read to say the least. I enjoyed the imagery that seemed to be a strange dream from a horror movie. That blood red ink turning into swastikas gave me a pretty hard chill down my spine, and the description of the girl and her bunny was eerie.

I felt confused, but perhaps that was a feeling you meant to instill in the reader, for even the protagonist was unsure of what had happened. I was also unsure of the setting of this was. Was this in the past? Was this in this country? It's obviously not the current United States, and since swastikas are apparent I must assume that this takes place after or during WWII. If so, I believe most children in the US were in schools, so the question is where.
