Hi There,
Just I did not get it that timing between conversations and the songs playing ..
Normally each song is about 4 to 5 minuts and teh conversation was shorter than that time. If this is the shorter version of the longer story that is OK.
Also as a man I would say If I love my wife ( as we see above) we are so curious about what is happening to my woman. Every thrilling point and hidden feeling under the skid would be seen, not every ...but most of it. If a man doesn't care,that is different, He won't be at home to see the wife. He is somewhere else to forget his problem of not having a child... He won't share his feeling.
I liked the read.

Hi There,
Reading your story made me hungry! You are so close at descriptive scenes when writing them. Although I have not seen the "Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film" but I can say what it will be like by ready yoyr short talking.
