Interesting tribute to an interesting man. I might think that throwing in his nicknames was a bit cliche, although you did it in a unique way. Overall, I like the form and the subject.
What a gift you have! Poetry is so hard for some of us, and yet you make it look so incredibly easy while at the same time turning out a piece of writing that stirs the heart of any mother or daughter reading it. Thank you for this wonderful piece of work...it was a joy and a pleasure to read.
Ah, we are all such sentimental creatures! Charlie Brown would have been so glad to know that yet another unwanted and unloved tree became the joy of an entire family. This was an absolutely beautiful piece of work, and I am grateful that I took the time to read it. I am rarely inspired by poetry, but this one touched my heart, and even brought a tear to my eye.
