This sonnet was well written. I myself always have a hard time with restricted limits in poem. This poem captures the spirit of the holidays both the good, (the children's joy), and the bad (the exhaustion of all the excitiment).
I'm not exactly sure how many syllables each line is supposed to have (if there is any limit) but the only thing I could see that would maybe improve the poem would be the first few lines running a little smoother(if there isn't any rules about syllables), but I know you had to use the prompt words so that's completely understandable and hardly detracts from it. Overall, a great poem. I personally dislike writing about holidays but others seem to do it so well. Keep up the good work:)
