I'm pleasantly surprised.
I will admit that, initially, I was skeptical. It's a Pokemon foot-fic so I think that's forgivable. But I gave it a chance and found it more than worthwhile. This is pretty good stuff, captivating stuff. Even for a reader such as myself, who has never been remotely interested in Pokemon, or feet. I was thoroughly entertained, your dialogue between characters is engaging, interesting, and never confusing which a lot of writers seem to struggle with.
You're not afraid to get graphic with your descriptions, so there is a certain degree of shock factor. Especially if one just stumbles across a piece like this when one is not explicitly searching.

I think you've done an elegant job of using this shock factor to your advantage capturing your readers' attention. And keeping their attention until you bring the piece to a happy, satisfying conclusion. making your protagonist a little more likeable in showing he learns from his mistakes.

Really good stuff.

I have always been partial to themes of hope and strength, persistence, and the like.
You've done a lovely job lifting the readers' mood, talking of light, faith, and such things.
