This is a very touching poem in which the author wears his heart upon his sleeve. As a husband and father of two, I could not imagine what it would be like to lose my wife and it is comforting to know that writing, another of my lifelong passions, is an avenue of expression and healing that can allow a person to unload some of the burden of grief by sharing a heartfelt message with others. Great poem. Truly inspired. Thank you for sharing.
