I felt really peaceful after reading this. Really, a lovely piece. It's a small slice of life, but that's what makes it awesome. I like how you used the old man's point of view as apposed to, say, one of the kid's. I feel as if I'm right there watching, right next to the old man. This is wonderful.

You can get a get a really vivid picture of the setting. I winced at times, but it was wonderful.

I love this. Think it's great how you used a real crisis and turned it into something fantasical. I love how the Ice Princess has mixed emotions about her sister and a lot of other things. I can't wait to read the rest.
