It took me a few reads, but I love this poem. The imagery is amazing and it's beautiful in a very chaotic, slightly disturbing way.
"babies die too.
our generation is afraid of itself,
of its collective POWER.
the last breath before death, I wonder if it hurts?
red and blue baby.
wrinkly soft baby gerbil fetus.
authors die softly."
"I recite them poetry and they listen; they become me and I'm happy forever."
I can't get these out of my damn mind, they've been stuck since I read it.
I've always wondered what would happen if a schizo survived a zombie holocaust and ran into a giant deer named Bambi, and now I know. Very entertaining and witty. Certainly not what I was expecting when I read the title. A few errors, nothing too bad. Notably the 'your' in the seventh paragraph. Otherwise, a good read and I look forward to the sequels.
