Interesting style of writing. But I think that you are misleading people with the genre. Unless you have a different interpretation of Action/Adventure. This is more scientific than supernatural. I'm not sure what to say about mystery. Also, I'm a religious man and all, but what significance does it bring to this story. Were you attempting to blend Science and Religion or something? If that's the case you should sneak religion in their a little better.

Half of this story is describing the lodge that you or your character is in. I mean that's not a bad thing but I'm forgetting about the main character. Also I have to tell you, although I not a romantic guy and I'm not a fan of this story, but writing style seems great. I'm not a fan of your writing style either, but it just seems complete, which has gave me a larger drive to perfect mine. Thanks.

Well I was expecting more out of this, but it did point out some stuff I haven't quite thought of. Funny thing is, I don't usually complement a writers piece, I just give them what I thought needs improvement. Probably because I toss my work in the dirt, stamp and spit on it until it's paper heart grows cold. But I'll consider this.

Mainstream: Don't know what you mean by mainstream. Maybe audience? Oh well. The target audience would maybe be deep thinkers I guess.

Category (Genre): Mystery/Fiction

Describe: Detective Thorn chases after a man he catches forcing a little girl out of her house and into a car. After following him to his location he discovers this man isn't new to child abduction. In his basement were girls in chains. One of the girls told him to not call the police because they were the ones behind this. Well no, they were involved. It was ultimately a secret society named the Illuminati that were behind this. After Detective Thorn partner, Detective Chimo, arrived to the scene they collaborate on what to do. The little girl gave them a brief ear fully of the occult actions and tells them they better act quickly because reinforcements are bound to arrive. So overall, long story short, these two detectives, from the perspective of Detective Thorn, go into hiding with the what like six girls that were in that basement. They both are easily turned into outlaws for child abduction and the government is working overtime to capture them before they uncover the truth. The two detectives work to clear their names and bring justice for the girls who parents were killed during the abduction while also exposing the ones behind all of this evil. But because of their efforts, they stumble upon some unspeakable truths behind this Illuminati organization.

Main Characters:
Detective Luther Thorn ~ A hardcore cop who seems always angry, but is prone to use his head before acting.
Detective Mario Chimo ~ An overweight Mexican American cop who kind nature allows him to keep the little girls from growing worried and he can handle situations that the serious Detective Thorn cannot.
Elsie Jubie ~ A nine year old girl, the eldest among the other girls, who is as serious as Thorn because she has been mistreated by creeps since she was five and she has a knows a lot more about these people than the other girls since she is very observant.

The two detectives wish to get these girls out of the clutches of the evil men that were abusing them. They also want to clear their name and all that good stuff, but also build allies that would help them bring justice to the ones that oppose them, and they find many psycho people who is engrossed in the occult. Government from all branches befriend them just to betray them. Not all, but most. Elsie wishes the same, except for the two detectives idea of justice. Her idea of justice is murder. Her parents were part of the occult and gave her up as collateral, but they could never pay what they owed so they were killed.

Antagonist:
Perry Robnett ~ Leader of the Critical Incident Response Group (SIRG). He demand results from his own people and when he doesn't get it, it's not very pretty.
Detective Trevor Welp ~ Works for SVU and hates when SIRG gets in his way. He has been on this underground child kidnapping ring for years, and he isn't willing to step aside to let anyone else solve it.
Everyone else who does not understand the two detectives intent.

Major Supporting Character:
Roman Fishel ~ A addict to occult information who has little mind capacity to worry about much else. He desires to be the one to uncover the truth and expose the Illuminati.
Emilia Fabry ~ An Attorney General who is good friends with Mario and has a dating history with Luther.
Ivan Dedrick ~ This guy goes to Luther Thorn church and has good relations with all cops within his city. As a former thief, and a man known to be sneaky, he plans to help Luther get the inside information he needs to clear his name. He knew Luther didn't do it just because he know how Luther is.

Setting: This is set in New York
Time Frame: 2014
Reasoning: How an I supposed to know, I'm making most of this up as I go.

Setting 2: Canada
Time Frame: 2014
Reasoning: They need to getaway obviously.

Main Complication: Well besides both the government and police are veraciously looking for them, they cannot go to friends or family and they are outlaws to society. Detective Thorn is not very good with kids and all the little girls want to do is cry, and scream, "I want to go home!" even though all their parents are dead. The government spying, now theirs a book named No Place To Hide, and these characters are going to have to deal with that.

Primary Obstacles: Resources are scarce and they have like eight mouths to feed. They need to leave the country, but it will be hard to sneak from one country to another under these circumstances. So their pretty screwed.

Resolution: I haven't a clue. I like to write as I go. Take time off to let the ideas build up and finally let the story resolve itself. So most likely a dramatic ending.

The story will be narrated by Detective Thorn. It won't get too deep into his past, more likely it will get into the past of Elsie. So, like usual, I have no idea what so ever where this story is head, that's the beauty of writing. I'll be the first to find out,and it will feel a lot more dramatic and awesome when the ideas erupt out of my head and I picture every awesome moment before it's printed on paper.
