This is a very interesting essay/novel part of Ghostwriting, on a desparate mothr when she lost her teenage son as it seems regarding age.
Regarding part of essay, it has to do with philosophy/Theology, resembling God and grive he gives us some times, to suffer what we bear, even wishing and praying to Him ''God never give me what I really can bear''-Like Iov in Old Testament when iov lost everything he had included his children, but finally he was rewared by God, as Testament says, and reaquired all is property etc.
Poem describes whatman can feel in front of such an incident, there is nothing worse than parents losing a child, son or daughter. -Grief from death of our beloved ones.
This woman seems she feels that God may be tests her faith. But grief is unbearable.- Berdjaijef in his books says : ''Human pain kneels me'', it seems awful for a mother's heart. She still hasn't sometig that ca help her forget, al she does in the house reminds her of her dead son, who was killed outside by a monster, and nothing can relieve her. Here starts part of Ghostwriting. Mother claims not to believe it, even at Court she meets his mother, and wants to adress to justice to take revenge. -She would kill that man, monster who killed her son, if she found him on her way. And still nothing..
But as at this point Ghostwriting starts, we see another side of the essay, that mother is lunatic or schizophrenic and killed her son, being mad and posessif as well.. May be she was so posessif that this was a strange situation, and WAS HER that did the crime. In fact, she feels remorse on crime she committed but there was no other way of love (sicky love), and doesn't want to admit, neither herself. But things cannot change from this point of view, it's too late. Mother does not recognize herself even under the shadow of the crime. Double personality, when she sees herself in the mirror, she still thinks that it was everyone else than hr, in fact she wants to kill herself. |
