You are just a bit older than I am ( 67 now) Yes, I remember turning 60 The good Doc told me I had full blown diabetes. I just read your poem. I don't fell I'm the right person to be doing this review. I mean, who am I? I enjoyed reading this and I let me drift back in time to when I turned 60. I hope I am honored to read more of your work.

I am still laughing. As I read this I smiled but could not content the laughter. Oh I had one or two of those dates and not too long ago (after 7 years after my husband died) I let my children talk me into dating :(
This is very well written and no road may is need to follow a long. we, as writers want to draw our readers into what ever it is we are writing. You do this so well.

Taylor, Again I am reviewing one of your poems, I have walked in your shoes. I understand your anger. I was removed out of an abusive family only the state placed in foster care where at 6 years old I was "used" over and over again. The Wife caught us and put me in a Michigan cellar for days (how many I didn't remember) I have sense worked through it all. You can too. You can heal but you should get help. God has become my Heavenly Father; He will become your Heavenly Father too.
Now Let's talk about your poem. Again it is very well written, It has a lot of feeling.

The poem was story; however, it said it all.
