This story... is just incredible and unbelievable. I am shocked and awed about this short story. And I absolutely love it! This story actually reminds me of an essay that I had just recently written for my English College professor. He wanted us to define "Social Media." I compared the social media to like a mafia family, because really the whole technology and the media is like family that's taking over our lives literally. We've become so dependent on technology. I feel like if we had a huge technology break down like the one in your story we would all be so lost, conflicted, and affected tragically. I love the details in your story, especially about how different types of technology came our in different years and seasons; I was highly impressed by that. I loved all of the characters from the beginning to end. I was sort of "on edge" the more I read the story and, I'll admit, was a little bit afraid to read it even further. And then towards the end I just sort of wanted to cry, because it was very heartbreaking about him still getting "tweets" from his loved one even though they passed away. Overall, excellent story! Wonderful diction and plot choice! I loved the descriptions, I could imagine it in my mind. Bravos! Keep up the good work!
I like how the font is in yellow! cute! Overall I like the poem, it's very cute and sweet. I also liked the rhyme scheme, it rhymed very well. And your choice of diction is excellent. So much description about a simple yellow briefcase! Bravo! :)
A very nice read, especially for the month of October. Nice and spooky. I kind of wish there was more after the story ended, maybe continue when he is an older man and revisits the place? I like the detail of the haunted house and the names like "Satan's Graveyard" and "The Alien Habitat." One of my questions is why did the amusement shut down in the first place? Maybe you can put something like that sort in there; explaining why. But all in all a very a very enjoy read, I liked it. Bravos! Keep up the good work :)
