Wow. Good story. Mine just sank to last place. Oh well. I don't mind losing to a good writer. I really liked the characters. You portrayed them very well.

It took a while, but I really liked it. I prefer the first ending. Very poignant. I am sure you will be getting first prize. I am not a writer, just a spinner of yarns. Thank you for the journey back in time, and the reminder.
