This is a controversial subject indeed. Would I do it? For myself probably would request it. Would I be able to watch someone I love do it? Probably not. I really love how impact of the "decision" is softened by the characters love for one another. There is so much feeling behind few lines. You can almost see the 50 years they've spent together in happiness and some pain probably. It is a beautiful story. Well communicated.
