This was great! I really loved the dystopian feel and the whole time the main character is trying to convince himself that Regime is good, even while seeing things to the contrary. It hints at some kind of brainwashing or propaganda having infiltrated parts of society. Really loved this piece. Only critique would be maybe space out your writing a little. Instead of one lump of text, perhaps you could divide it into several paragraphs. Keep writing!
I really enjoyed reading this story. It was interesting and incredibly well written. It was cryptic, which I liked. The ending seemed kind of rushed and gave a ton of information that I think was not necessary. That was the only downside for me though. If it only had stayed within those cryptic boundaries towards the end, it would've been perfect. It is your story though, so that is just my opinion, do with it what you will.
Also, I liked the suspense with Gina and the arrival of the greys masked by a thunderstorm. The dialogue between the police officers kind of interrupted that "fifth sense" feeling, know what I mean?
All in all, a great read and I hope this turns out into a larger more complex storyline in the future. Keep writing! I simply love scifi like this.
