That was a very different story! You don't see many fiction stories that mention Native Americans, and I really liked the nice community you started introducing. The part about the hunt was so fun (: Rogue is definitely and interesting character, a little childish but growing. A lot of foreshadowing... which is a good thing! As long as it all comes back in eventually. All of the character development is done well. Overall it was a very good piece! Only detriment was that there are a few parts with some grammar mistakes such as misplaced punctuation, but that can easily be fixed during the editing process.
First off, that was really amazing. I loved the style and your word choice. The plot was enticing, drawing me in and keeping me wondering, and when I got to the end, I was left wanting more. You did, however, bounce between tenses towards the end, and there were a few spelling errors, but that means practically nothing when you consider the plot. I want to know what happens! I want to know what the beast was and why it bled red, and where the child came from. Who is the narrator and where did the come from? Why were they there shooting the beast? I really enjoyed it and will be following this story as it grows.
Wow that really took me on an interesting trip. The grammar was a little shaky, was that the intention? It definitely added a different tone to the story. It also contained a lot of terminology I was not familiar with, were those names of deities? I think an explanation of some of the elements would allow me to enjoy this on a different level, but I guess writing like this is supposed to be vague.
I must say, that was super cute. I really love the personal connection with the story and the inspiration for it. Sounds like Super Drew has a super mom. I could really see this as a children's book with illustrations. You should try to find someone to do artwork for it.
