This is so true! Every simple little thing can have a big meaning for a child. They learn to love people and animals, be happy with every little thing you get and try to see the beauty in everything.
As a mother I do my best and hopefully my children see the things I thought they didn't.

I am glad I came across this poem because it is so beautifully and lovingly written.

I read it with a smile and a tear. These four-legged friends often manage to steal our hearts, they are part of the family and oh how it hurts when they are no longer there.
