That's interesting, I've never seen a kid who wasn;t afraid of anything except for one monster...did he make it up or did somebody tell him about the toilet monster?
Also, was that a poem? It really seemed like it was, but it wasn't really structured like it...
I like this poem. It really lays it out flat for you. What intrigued me most was the structure. Though this seems to be free-verse, it is about as close to being structured as it can be while still being free-verse.
I liked the style of writing in this poem. And, if I'm not mistaken, there seemed to be an obscure history reference there at the end as well...
Wow! This is very good. I notice you employ an exceptional arsenal of vocabulary, a few of which I admittedly had to look up. The meaning is complex, but not so complex that it can't be found. This is a unique poem, and something I enjoyed reading. Good work!
I really like this. It's a nice piece of work, and has a really interesting concept to it. I like especially how you included a full circle ending, thus tying it together. It's a story of the simple yet powerful things in human life, and of memories. Good stuff, keep it up!
Wow, that was really good. It says things in a sort of cryptic way that really gets the reader thinking. I can tell you spent some time thinking about and writing this poem, and I salute you on a good piece of work.
If there were anything to complain about, it might be that it was possibly a little bit too cryptic.
That was pretty good...a nice look into what such a powerful emotion can bring into a person, with some really artistic word use...
...However, it could have been better. Certain descriptions always help. Especially with something as emotional as this probably was, I think there could be a quite a bit more to make the reader understand better exactly what it means to be in that situation.
