I really like this. Please carry on as it mekes me deperately want to know what happens next. You built up the background, their closeness followed by his curiosity as to why, followed by tension, the waiting, then the despair in waiting for her to contact him. I especially liked the description of the city. The dialogue was realistic and believable, just hurry up and finish, I want to know more!
