I became the sea

I became the sea
The ocean ran through my veins
My thoughts I shared with it
And our souls became the same
My heart beat it’s waves
 
I felt so tranquil floating there
I felt no fear, no pain
And of myself I was not aware
But part of some bigger thing
The visions flashed before my eyes
Of all the oceans secret things
I could of drowned
I could of died
And it wouldn’t have meant a thing
 
I saw Aerhon , the sea of the dead
And all my dreams flow through
So beautiful, so untainted
And in it’s midst I saw you
and I flowed upward to it’s view
 
I saw my body floating in the sea
I remembered thinking if that was really me
My corpse just floating there
What a worthless burden for my soul to care
And then I saw my friends I suppose one called my name
Ending my wonderful dream
 
I slammed back into my flesh
The visions all begin to fade
No longer was I part of the sea
I was nothing , just me
A worthless being, not an entity
A creatures whose days will surely end
Whose fate is nothing more but to become dust in the wind.
