little girl in a bottle

She's a little girl in a bottle
who is crying to get out
She's been in there a very long time
thats what her life is all about.
She stays in her little bottle
not knowing what to do
She thinks of things that made her this way
what makes her different from you?
Sometimes she pokes out her head
she doesn't like what she sees
Nothing has changed, it's still the same
back to her bottle to give her some ease.
Will she ever be able to come out?
she says to herself, likely not
She's been in there to long
her bottle is all that she's got.
She cries to herself quite often
to her it helps ease the pain
She thinks to herself if she comes out
everyone will label her "insane."
So in her bottle she stays
it's the only home that she knows
Everyday is the same to her
having her highs and lows.
Maybe one day it'll be different
for now thats a very big doubt
She's now a girl in a bottle
who is Dying to get out.
