A poem about two people in love living in their own special world. |
A beautiful island, All surrounded by water, There sits we two, Peacefully at supper. And it’s this land, That we two so love, This is our all, Our sweet little world. It’s a delicacy protected With hills all around, Will trees and caves And love all about. And beyond these hills Lies the pristine ocean, But bound by togetherness, So was our notion. But the water is, but Curious to know, How, with nothing but each other, We are happy so? So it channels itself In two small darts, And divides itself, Into three different parts. One small channel Makes a tiny harbor to our world, And opens to a small pond Inside our sweet little world. The pond has water so heavenly clear, That a bunch of lilies Form a pretty cluster mere. Our cave upon the hills Is such a loveable place, A low, half mile, tunnel, Leads to the wide, clearing space. And we crouch through the tunnel And wriggle at its floor & walls, Until we reach the private chamber In our sweet little world. The other little channel From the sea, still uncontented, Flows through this tunnel, And makes a pool in gladness. So we wash our feet In this clear cool water, Making our already fluttering hearts, Care more for one another. Now, outside the cave, On two sides of it, Stand two huge trees With a hollow within. The left tree is mine and the right one is yours. Inside the left one, I leave a message for you, Every night before I go And snuggle and cuddle into you. And in the right one, You leave a message for “Runa—The Best”, Every night before you come, And lie on my breasts. As the morning sun rises, In the red, eastern sky, We go to that cave together And sit side by side. With out chits in our hands We lovingly look into each other’s eye, And know something sweet, Is surely penned inside. And so it turns out Every time we open the chit, That makes you glow in the face, And me, to go to your lap and sit. With the little sunlight That filters into us We could clearly view the love for us In each other’s eyes. We then move out to Our grassy and sandy (outside the cave) island, And take a bath in the pond Before leaving for a while our land. We take our little boat, Out into the sea, To explore some other lost islands, unknown to you and me. But eventually we get back, To the land we two so love, Which is our all, Our sweet little world. Where there isn’t any hurt, Any pain, any sadness, Just you & me forever together, With unconditional love for each other, And extreme joy and happiness. |
