Why Should I Confess?

Confess my sins on this blankets of lies.
Confess my fears on my teddy bear of self doubt.
Confess my dreams to your skin of perfection.

With tears made to fix this problem.

So what is left to confess?
I’m open and raw
Waiting for yet another fool to burn me alive.

I don’t need savor because no one can save me from my self.
But I need an advocate on my side.

And maybe
Just maybe this angel I kiss will change everything
Scratch that!
Because you have changed everything.

So with this I confess to you my lord
You said “you had nothing to offer me.”
But yet you are the greatest offer so far.

Is there anything else I can say?
Maybe
But for now I leave you with that thought.
