A poem for a friend that... I miss.
You've gone to where I can't follow,
and left this world far behind.
Were my feelings for you truly hollow?
was it love, or just thoughts in my mind?
I can't say that I have yet forgotten,
the things that you said have rung true.
Though the apple of my eye has turned rotten,
it's still sweet when I'm thinking of you.
