Adventures of Beatri no.3

Beatri was walking down the road and when she came across a house that was for sale, she decided to take a look inside. The man showing her around was very nice and she liked the house but it was too expensive for her. She left the house with a sad heart.

She was continuing down the road thinking how she might be able to purchase the house. She was hoping something would happen like the two days before, because before they happened she was extremely bored with her life and was thinking of ending it, but they happened so that gave her a reason to live. Sure enough, she spotted an orange sparkly box on the ground in front of her. She picked it up and opened it, to find a bracelet and a piece of paper saying:
Whom so ever wears
This may have the
Ability to control
The minds of others
But as soon as
This bracelet comes
Off they lose this
Ability and may never
Touch it again.
The bracelet was very pretty, with red and orange gems and silver edging. She slipped the bracelet on her wrist and she felt her mind become aware of every living thing around her. She felt her mind sharpen. She wondered how she controlled the minds of others. She looked at the piece of paper again and turned it over and saw that it had instructions on how to use it. It said the user must be looking at what the user wants to control and then the user has to think what the user wants the thing to do.

Beatri looked at a tree on the opposite side of the road and thought: small left branch fall off. The tree gave a violent shake and the small left branch fell off. Beatri liked this. Then she decided to go back to the house that was for sale and get it.

She walked back up the road and straight to the house that was for sale, went in and found there was a woman who had already bought the house and was signing the final paper. Give the house to me. Beatri thought. The woman turned to the man who was selling the house and said, “I’ve decided to give the house to this fine young lady here.”

Say OK. Beatri thought, looking at the man.

“OK” the man said.

The woman and the man walked out of the house leaving it to her. Beatri had got the house without paying anything. Tomorrow she would go and get her small amount of things from her house that she shared with her mother. Tomorrow.
