Poem of heartache...
Hint of interest
Aroused in your eyes.
Veil of uncertainty
Exposed through small lies.

Ballads of love
Every night sung by you.
Engaged conversations
Near candlelight too.

Why did you take my hand
And held it in yours
Nailing my heart in
Thousands of holes?!
Injured and bleeding but
Numb from the pain
Graciously stood and listened you say:

“You are so special to me but
Our eyes, at least mine, can not see
Use of these feelings to be.’’

Silently I let go of your hand
Overlooking the ache, leaving blood stains in sand.

More steps I took
Unconsciously fighting with tears.
Capturing fragments of memories and
Holding back hateful spears.

Biting my tongue to be
Unable to speak
Then unexpectedly I felt a kiss on my cheek.

Your eyes were in front of mine.
Odd vibes sent message to
Us that it’s fine.

‘’Can I help you?’’
He said and pulled out the dart
On the side of my
Sore, bleeding,
Empty heart.

His arms made me feel secure
Even though I knew that it is not
Really the right cure.

It’s been quite hard to live
Near and by your side
Seemingly having friendship, being
Truthful, only one thing to hide.
Every wound will heal-
Ask my heart but
Dart- you forgot one last dart!
