This is a poem about winter, my favourite season!
Shining shimmering silver
Crispy crunching snow
Water droplets glisten in
The misty sunlights glow

In the icy depths of winter
The falling snowflakes bite
The harsh winds tug at the twisted trees
A forest of brilliant white

The twinkling stream runs through the trees
The icy mist still swirls
The light thats hanging in the air
Dances through in twirls

Icicles hang frozen
In time then break and snap
The mud of dreary autumn
Stands frozen in its tracks

The damp paths now all glimmer
Hardened by the frost
The mountains dominate the world
Making the trees look lost

Snowflakes fall like parcels
Declaring winter's vice
In the chasm left by autumn
Sits winter's world of ice
