In pain in the body
entangled in mind
I've left my life lying
for anyone to find
to dump inside the trashchan
like most of them have
Surrounded by people
who claim to be friends
who claim they'd be with me
till the end

but at the first sign of struggle
they all slip away
making excuses and
just giving way
they don't call or write
or leave on the light
or pick up the phone
don't bother
i'm not home
