This is a poem about how wealth can interact with people. |
It walks around looking for a corporation, to sink its teeth into. Soon it sees a corporation, young, relatively small, good he thinks. As he walks in, he is greeted by people with open arms. AS he rides the elevator up, the building grows from 2 floors to 3 to 4 and so on. When he steps off, the corporation is now 110 floors and raking in money. The president, greedy as he is slams the door in Wealth's face. The reason is thus, the CEO is too preocupied with money, to even care about where it comes from. Told to get out, he rides down, the building deacreaces, back, beyond, the beginning, a corporation on the edge of bankruptcy, the CEO, poor and not making the money he once made. When Wealth leaves, the people in the lobby do not wave at him, they just stare gloomily at the ground. As Wealth is out of the door, the building disappears into the air, the company that was is no more, because they chose not to utilize Wealth wisely, so it bit them, and they did not pay attention to it. As wealth says, "You snooze, you loose" because money can come and go, so everybody can hold on to it, for a time anyway. Then Wealth just moves on, and on. |
