I lay before you now
My heart floating off in the day.
I had planned to make a vow
But what I saw, made it not mine to say.

You told me we would be together
We would spend our days as one.
Our love would last forever;
We would live a life of fun.

Now those words are lost to me
as I sit in a corner crying.
You tell me it will never be;
I feel more pain than that of dying!

I wished only to make you to be happy
Though I know it will make me cry,
because you don't want to be with me!
You could have at least let me try!
