what is it

the dictionary has its suggestions on this

but none of them seem to get it just right

it doesn't tell you that while love can be a joyous thing

it can also sneak up from behind you and break your heart in half

it can bring people together

and then pull them apart

it can be fun

until its time runs out and it leaves you in the dust

there is really not one exact definition for love

it is just something that everyone wants

but unfortunately not everyone gets

love is something that cannot be defined because it is too great to put into words

it is something everyone should experience

even if it helps them or hurts them

love

plain and simple it is the greatest joy and sorrow in life

seeked by all who just want a glimpse at its glory

even if it fails them in the end
