ABC poem about love |
Always is the length of time he promises to stay, Beautiful is how he sees me each and every day. Caressing my face as I look upon his, Devoted to me as long as we live. Enchanting me with roses on Valentine's Day, Faithful when on the road he must stay. Giving me love in more ways than I've known, Hugging me the moment he finally gets home. I miss him each moment he is gone, Just a couple more days isn't that long. Kindness he shows me, our daughters and son, Laughing together till morning light comes. Many more years we'll spend deep in love, Naked emotions thanking God above. Open and honest with one another, Patience not lacking between each other. Quietly we cuddle, often a word we don't speak, Rudeness is a practice we never could keep. Sometimes I wonder why it took us so long, Ten was I when your heart sang loves song. Unknown all this time, I must have been blind, Vacant my heart till your love was mine. Wanting to spend with you every breath of my air X-chromosome, your Y, makes us the perfect pair. You are gone again tonight, that just won't do, Zoom home fast 'cause I'm missing you... |
