I saw your soul looking into mine

Two souls wandering around seeking love
were once united on the last step above.
Neither one dares to take a chance
to go way beyond a glance.
Two lonely people buying time day after day
Neither knowing which road is the right way
Maybe they have been forced into solitude
doesn't that suck for a prelude.
What would it take for them to follow destiny
and realize they each hold the key
The key to bright days and great tomorrows
and someone there to lean on through the sorrow
