A tale of a female assassin. |
Silent was the night sky. The winds stilled once the storm had passed. The heavy rains had done their damage to the land. Now it was its time to pass over some other place. The air chilled rapidly as the rains cooled the summer night air. It seemed no longer to be so humid as it was before the rains. The night sky had cleared the clouds away to show the full moon and all its beauty. The other two moons sat in the back ground letting their brother takt the glory for now, knowing they would take it later. There she sat on the windowseal watching the night sky disappear into morning. She had stayed up all night to watch the rain storm. It was a splendid one to see she agreed silently to herself. THe rains seemed to be as dark as her heart, as her beauty. The beauty of womanhood came across her. There she was in her peak of beauty, a young flower bud ready to shine its beauty onto the world just as this yound woman was about to do. Hair so long and raven black, eyes like ice blue, clear and calm, however dangerous and a mystery, skin so soft a face betrayed by an innocent gaze. She appeared far younger than her actual years, but that came as and advantage for her, as was the custom for most women blessed so. Their looks was what kept most of them so powerful in a man's world. This woman used them well. Graceful beyond any queen with a voice of music. Demure and elegant to the very core. This woman betrayed all. So powerful this one was. How dangerous this one was. How dangerous. She dressed slowly in her usual velvet gown of black and her soft leather boots. She placed her weapons upon her person secretly adding to her deadliness. With soft steps of an assassin, she exited her city home. Not a word was said to her as she passed the a sorted people on the streets who where involved in her every day life. A ghost she pretended to be, and very well she pretended. Her name was not konwn, very few new it. So careful she was to avoid eye contact with strangers. If one happened to glance at her while her eyes gazed back at them, they knew why no one looked at her. She struck fear into the hearts and souls all who looked. Fear came over them. |
