An unexpected love- part.2

"Draco, this time don't touch anything, please!" Hermione said jokingly. "Very funny Hermione, still sorry about yesterday", Malfoy said again. "And there is goes again! Since when have you apologized to anyone especially me. Are you getting weird on me? Your acting way to nice. Look if it's what I said about your Dad, i'm sorry.. it's just"Hermione said.
"Don't be, you were....you were right, as much as I Hate to admit it." Draco said so quietly it sounded like a whisper. The two silently headed outside to the garden. They walked over the Mandrake and looked around for lavender or gold plant. The garden was very vast almost the size of a small lake.
"Maybe we should split up", Hermione said. Draco made a sad face, then quickly erased it before Hermione could see. "Okay, Hermione you go left, I'll go right" Draco said. They started to seperate then Draco turned around and said "Wait! Maybe we should send up sparks if something happens or if we find something".
Hermione smiled and said "smart suggestion. Maybe you aren't as thick as I thought you were". Then something amazing happened, Draco actually smiled! Not a smirk, or teasing laugh. but a real full blown smile. This shocked Hermione, not only because of how rare it was but how much she liked it. She couldn't believe it, she was started to fall in love with Draco Malfoy . The boy who made her cry so many times in her past, the boy who teased her non stop, the boy she was supposed to hate with a passion.
The smile on her face quickly turned into more confusion. She was feeling very dumbfounded these days. They stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity. Finally Draco broke the silence "We should...we should begin looking" he said sweetly. ~Maybe it's this house or something, that's making us act so..so weird"~ Hermione thought to herself as she walked through the garden. She was not all paying attention to any of the flowers.
The only thing that got Hermione's attention was a golden gleam coming in a middle of a patch. She cleared a few plants out of the way and picked out the golden flower. She then tookout her wand and sent up sparks. About two minutes later, Draco appeared panting. "Is everything okay, I thought something could of been wrong", he said slowly in between his hard breathing. "I found the golden flower, but no sign of lavender. Why did you automatically asume the worst?", Hermione said. "I don't..know." Malfoy said slowly.
He finally regained his breath. "Um..I think there is only magical flowers in this garden, isn't lavender a muggle thing?", Draco asked.
"Yes, it a really pretty flower", said Hermione. ~She's a really pretty flower~ Draco thought as he stared at Hermione while she was in deep thought. Suddenly, her eyes expanded and she brightened up as if a lightbulb came on top of her head. "How stupid can I be? My lotion set! Mum forced me to bring it, it's made of pure lavender astract!" Hermione said. "your not stupid it just slipped your mind" Malfoy said. His silver hair sparkling in the sun. "Malfoy I thought I knew you, but..I don't. For most of my life at Hogwarts you constantly taunt me, I knew you hated me just because of my parents.But maybe I hated you back because of your parents. Then out of no where you and change on me. Your acting so weird.", Hermione said looking directly into Draco's beautiful gray eyes.
She saw how much thinking he was doing,and thought he looked really adorable that way, deep in thought. She felt the urge to kiss him, but something held her back. He said nothing. They just started to walk back to the Shack. They both headed into Hermione's room and Draco sat on the bed as Hermione rummaged through her things looking for the lotion. When she opened her last drawer she found it. Looking on the back on the bottle, she made sure the ingredients were nothing but lavender extract. "Yes!" she exclaimed! The two took out their cauldrons, ingridents, and the instruction sheet.
After an hour or two, the potion was finally done, and completed perfectly. They only had a pint of luck potion to show for it, most of it evaporates. "I guess i'll be going now, since we are done for now", Draco said as he got up and stretched out. Hermione watched him in a daze. She stood upfollowed him to the door. Instantly, Draco didn't care about his father, or his reputation, all he could think was Hermione. He turned around and carefully grabbed her by the waist pulling her towards him and he kissed her for what seeed like eternity. The first kiss was short. They just looked at each other shocked. Then Hermione kissed him back. Soon passion took over, which led them to the bed.
Hermione was reluctant at first, but she eventually gave in. They were kissing on the bed,and then touching. Hermione finally stopped him at her jeans. "Malfoy, what just happened?" Hermione asked. "I think I just fell in love with the person I was supposed to hate. I did..I love you." Draco said, his gray eyes expanding. Hermione hardly could bring her self to reply but she did"I....I..can't believe it..I..I actually love you too" Hermione said still shocked.
Flashing through her mind was the past years of malfoy's hurtful teasing, Ron's affection for her, and Harry. "How could I have fallen in love with you? I used to cry myself to sleep because of your teasing. My best friends hate you, I'm supposed to hate you, but..but I don't!" Hermione said slowly. She looked at Malfoy's face and saw plain hurt and guilt. He just hugged her and whispered I'm sorry in her ear over and over again.
