Cactus Blossom

I miss you like the cactus blossom,
Red with its love blushing,
Misses the single dew drop of life.

I feel like all the night sky awesome,
Ablaze with comets rushing,
The darkness lost without a wife.

I feel apart, without the whole
Knowing you are not
Feeling the same way as I.

Within my heart, a gaping hole,
Resides within the knot,
