Thoughts will be presented with the name, followed by "Example" and speeches will be shown witin 'Example' . Tagline : One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, for the next job. (Blue Suede Shoes melody) IN BLACKNESS -UNKNOWN FEMALE VOICE "HATRED is necessary when someone we love hurts us very badly. ..We hate back for protection. But HATRED fails to discriminate. It attacks the good in the other, demonizing and destroying the potential for love. We DESTROY our enemies by loving them. People die of heartbreak, Leaving more casulties than WAR. We are vulnerable to extreme hatred expressed extremely but we are just as vulnerable to HATRED felt but not expressed. We may hate sometimes knowing that HATRED, is a loss of love. VENGEANCE is an expression, killing whats left inside. I can't REMEMBER YESTERDAY. My life is nothing but a NIGHTMARE. A nightmare that eats my SKIN little by little. I HATE, I call it FATE, until I feel no more. PAIN is what's left. It has no FUTURE but ITSELF, THE PAST, enlightened to perceive New periods of PAIN." INT. HOUSE -UNKNOWN GIRL "His body fell stiff to the floor. The room smelled of gunpowder and blood. Those stifled blasts echoed within my head as I slowly got back to 'reality'. I had to leave and as I left I made sure to not leave anything behind. A job well done. The untold story of my bullets would soon be all over thew news." INT. HOUSE -MALE VOICE "..Looks like we have a murder on our hands." MANNY "As I walked into the house, I could see Chief Inspector Peterson examing the dead body. A caucasian male, brutally killed. Whoever killed this man picked a nice evening to execute it. The rain covered alot of the traces." CHIEF INSPECTOR PETERSON 'Manny, get over here.' MANNY 'Yes, chief?' "I knew Peterson. He probably thought he'd leave before the feds arrived and usually that meant I'd stay at the crime scene, making sure that the FEDS had to do their own 'dirty work' as Peterson would've said. He hated almost the entire FBI after some incident back in the days. I have never dared to ask him about it, he avoids it very often." CHIEF INSPECTOR PETERSON 'I want you to gather all you can. Give me this guys background and records. See what the analasis guys can say about this BOX. MANNY "He handed me a box of chocolate. It seemed it had been shot through and there was a bloodstain at the top of the otherwise white box." CHIEF INSEPCTOR PETERSON 'Make sure they run a DNA TEST.' MANNY "He said while pointing at the bloodstain." CHIEF INSPECTOR PETERSON 'I need to know if its his or someone else's blood.' MANNY "I put it in a evidence bag and left it at my car while waiting for Mike. Mike was our analysis specialist. He was a man of great devotion to his work and we'd often get our results the next day." MANNY "I replied Peterson." 'Will do sir. Seems like whoever did this was keen to kill this guy.' "..It really looked messy." CHIEF INSPECTOR PETERSON 'Yeah, by the looks of it. 10 shots toward the chest? Crime of passion?' MANNY 'Love can be cruel.' "I looked down at the corpse. I noticed a white piece of paper and picked it up. It was almost entirely covered in blood, next to the victims hand, holding it, but I couldn't make out the text. The room was to dimmed. I went outside, to be able to read it properly. Peterson was standing next to his car." CHIEF INSPECTOR PETERSON 'I am leaving you in charge, 'til the feds arrive.' MANNY "He laid his hand upon my shoulder and went towards the outer door." 'Sir, one more thing before you leave. I found this note lying next to the BODY.' "He read it quickly for himself." CHIEF INSPECTOR PETERSON '..Interesting. Give it to Mike along with the box , might be useful to our investigation.' MANNY "I noded and turned my eyes at the note, reading it.." '..Hello Miss Fortune, how's "Mr. Misery"? I've been away so long. I bet you think you saw the last of me?..' "This was meant to be found I thought, but it had no relevance. I know what you're thinking, that it's my job, well this wasn't a easy task, even for me." CHIEF INSPECTOR PETERSON 'Seems it was meant to be found. Either way, give it to Mike. He'll take a closer look. I'm off. Oh, and keep as much as you can for yourself, the FEDS ain't going to crack this one before we do.' MANNY "As usual. He looked at me for an instant and was off. I handed the evidence to Mike and went back to my car. The rain subsided almost instantly after he left. Finally I thought. There had been nothing but rain since I'd got there. I read the note once more. As I looked up I could see the feds come. The wind stopped singing as the black cars stopped at the scene. A tall figure in a beige trenchcoat steps out of one of the newly arrived cars. It was Jacob, the one who had got Petersons old spot at the bureau. He observed me from a distance and started walking towards me while reading my name tag." JACOB "So Peterson left you in charge, huh ..Manny?" MANNY "I was so fed up with him, after all sleasy comments about our work from previous cases and it seemed as if I hated him while I replied." 'He did. So what can I do for you, sir?' JACOB "Easy with the "I hate you" tone Manny. I am just here to gather some information, thats all. No point in getting all worked up, right?" MANNY "He replied. The air around us became tense. I felt like being sarcastic, and played along." 'Quite right, Quite right. Well I am afraid I ain't got too much to offer you.. sir. The rain covered all the outside traces and whoever did this, knew what he/she was doing. No noticeable evidence.' MANNY "No wonder I was fed up with this guy, all these insults." JACOB 'Thats why we are here Manny. There is no such thing as a perfect crime. Just sloppy police work. MANNY "In an instant he turned from all friendly and jolly-good-guy to defensive and irritated at 'our' mere presence." JACOB 'Now get your men off this area so me and my men can start our investigation. Oh, and, STAY THE HELL OFF THIS CASE. I will not tolerate seeing either you or that Peterson fellow sneaking around. And if you have any more information, I suggest you hand it over. I think we are on the same page. MANNY "He wrapped it up really nicely." JACOB Always a pleasure working alongside the Jersey local police.' MANNY 'Mutual.. my friend.' "Love was in the air. He walked away, heading back towards the cars and as he walked away he smiled at me. I looked away and told my men that they could head home for the night." Transition. INT. BEDROOM -UNKNOWN GIRL "I had fell asleep. The TV was still on in the morning and as I got up I noticed it was the news." ANCHOR MAN (TV/News) '..This just in. Police have been working on a suspicious murder case. Last night a man was killed, during what seems like a well planned murder. Eyewitnesses claim to have caught a glimpse of the suspect leaving the scene. There have been certain difficulties identifying the shooter but police are certain that with the eyewitnesse's help being able to find the suspect. TV VIEW OF A FUNERAL -UNKNOWN GIRL "As the anchor man continued his broadcast they showed images of a funeral. There they were. Around the dead man stood a handfull of people, and the coffin was opened. Poor fellow. He didn't realise how lucky he was." ANCHOR MAN (TV/Nwes) 'The Local Police have been working all night alongside the FBI and we have our own Laura down at the crime scene with Detective Jacob giving us the latest about this most horrible incident.' EXT. TV VIEW OF CRIME SCENE -UNKNOWN GIRL "Images of 'his' house. There were cops all over the place. I noticed they were going live. The fellow reporter of the anchor man stood there, waiting for a tall man in a beige trenchcoat. He fixed his tie and walked towards the reporter." EXT. CRIME SCENE -LAURA 'Thank You, Richard. Well I am standing here at the crime scene from last night's shooting and murder of Thomas O'Connor. Thomas, who had no known enemies, nor any criminal charges was a 27 year old male, shot 10 times in the chest. This must seem like a mystery Detective? How are you going to solve this?' INT. BEDROOM TV VIEW OF CRIME SCENE -UNKNOWN GIRL "The tall man in the trenchcoat replied in a most deep voice." EXT. CRIME SCENE -JACOB 'Well, we are currently doing all we can and cooperating with the local police to get as many leads as possible but so far.. I wouldn't say mystery, but we have a few leads that we are currently looking into.' LAURA 'Do you think it was a planned murder?' JACOB '..By the looks of it, yes. Whoever it was, he or she made sure not to leave many traces. As mentioned though, we've got a few leads and we will not stop until we found our suspect.' LAURA 'Glad to hear that, Detective. Now back to you Richard...' INT. BEDROOM/HOUSE -UNKNOWN GIRL "I turned the tv set off and went to the kitchen, I noticed my pills were at the table. I hesitated but after what I'd felt I think that the point where I should use them has passed. I really need to get out of here. I looked out the window, the sun was out. The calm before the storm. I got dressed. I had work to do. As I stepped outside I casted a quick glance at the boxes. Everything seemed counted for. I went outside." EXT. STREET -UNKNOWN GIRL "As I walked down the street I noticed how the sun seemed to affect people. Everyone looked happy. Three girls, giggling as they were playing caught my eye. As I looked towards them a black car slowly went by. The driver stared. It was the detective from TV. I chilled. He looked even more creepy in person and it made me increase my pace. Heading down the street." Quick transition. EXT. FUNERAL/CEMETARY -UNKNOWN GIRL "As I walked I started thinking of the images of the funeral. All the grief, sorrow and pain they must've felt, but they still haven't got a clue what it feels like. 'Him' lying there in the chest, some part of me made me feel sorry, but another part felt relieved. I almost felt like I was present." Transition. EXT. STREET -UNKNOWN GIRL "Finally I could see the place. I went down the road towards the place I was recommended. On the streets I'd heard this place was a great shelter and as I turned I noticed a black morgue car drive by. I turned back, heading down the street." |
