As a dragon flies to your feet,
You lick your lips ready for meat,
He twists up round and circles you,
Ready to taste his daily brew.
You leap up high and kick its scales,
He breathes out fire and then he bails,
Your twigs set alight and you lick your lips,
He dives at your beard and flails till it rips.
You yowl like a bear,
Not liking the tear,
He smiles like a fox,
And licks his chops.
Breathing fire and ice,
You scream like some mice,
He swipes his tail,
You fall like a nail.
You pick up a mirror,
And shine it forth,
Like a drop of hope,
In a pool of terror,
His tail turns to rope,
And his smirk to a frown,
For he was the ugliest dragon in town!
