Every day 'round six o'clock,
I finally make it home.
As soon as I walk through the door,
my fingers itch to roam
The pages found upon that site,
called, humbly, WDC
My husband says, "Honey,
will you please look at me?"
Well, I turn around in my swivel chair
And see him sitting over there.
"What's for supper?" is what he asks,
So I add THAT to my many tasks.
When all is done and kids abed
He sits down to scratch his head.
"Would I make a better suitor,
If I looked like your computer?"
Well, I give in, turn off the screen
But I think he's being rather mean.
He once asked this about his looks,
When at school, I was lost in books!
He makes me think about a song
From a commercial, now long gone.
I wonder if Oscar Meyer would mind
If I added to his song my own line.
"Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Meyer 'puter,
That is what I'd really like to be.
Cause if I were an Oscar Meyer 'puter
Maybe then my wife would look at me!"
