The goat gobbles down a tasty chestnut
horses chomp apples, freshly cut
cows enjoy a good meal of hay
spotty brown eggs the chickens do lay

The charming dog laps water
from the dripping garden taps
next door's cat takes off
with the farmer's hat

The pigs in the sty
have a hankering for pie
ducks waddle across the lawn
over garden tools, through the corn

Magpies swoop over
the paddock of sheep,
who munch thoroughly,
and happily bleet.
