The life of a soldier
SOLDIER
A soldier's life is not his own
Although he tries to make a home
He marries and conceives but leaves them alone
to keep the world safe while his family waits.

He gives of his time and sometimes his life
to keep the different parts of the world from strife
He does his job and is as sharp as a knife
Knowing at any time his time could be up.

He does not know how to
