God is Faithful

If it Had Not Been for the Lord on my Side

When is the last time you looked back over your life and see how far God has brought you. In looking back over my own life I see from whence the Lord has brought me. There were some dark and painful days that I have experienced throughout my walk with the Lord. There were times when financial difficulties were plentiful. Many times I was afflicted in my body and needed a healing touch from my Lord. If it had not been for God on my side I ask myself where would I be today. I thank God for his encouraging words to me from the holy scripture: mamy are the afflictions of the righteous but he will deliver you out of them all. I have come to know that scripture was my saving grace. God has been faithful in delivering me from many afflictions: trials, and tribulations. If it had not been for God on my side I would no doubt not be in my right mind today. God has protected me from the destruction of the enemy. When the enemy comes in like a flood God will raise up a standard against him. So many times I would have given up if it had not been for God speaking comfort to my soul. He alone is worthy to be praised. Through the storms of life he is able to bring you out into a wealthy place. God is the great deliverer. He is the one that sticketh closer than any brother. He alone can wipe your every tear and even bottle each one. We are so precious to him even when we see ourselves as the least of them. I thank God that I can call on his name and it will bring peace to my spirit. If it had not been for the Lord on my side I shutter to think where I may be today. God looked beyond my faults and saw that I needed him. He sought me and drew me
With his loving kindness. I praise God for his marvelous deeds toward to me.
