A piece about confused love.
I crave your touch,
Your sweet voice,
The sight of your
Hand holding mine.
I need your warmth.
I only wish you'd see
The gap in my life.
Dragonfly dreams.

You've begun to fill
That yawning gulf,
But we're both hesitant.
It seems like answers
Are so hard to acquire
And I'm left chasing
Dragonfly dreams.

Seeking one I
Only wish was a rock,
A solid and permanent
Foothold in life.
Flighty and free
Is my Prince,
So hard to pin down,
Never resting, never still.
Dragonfly dreams.

And these images
I'm left wrestling with
Overwhelm me like
Dragonflies in the mist,
Full of questions.
Dragonfly dreams.
