Not Another Love Poem: topic - Horror |
Do you hear that? Silence No creature makes a sound Outside the walls That stand as your protection A barricade that won’t stand up Against the demons of the night Just wait There is no use in running They will get you No matter what you do But the question is Which will get to you first? The Windigo perhaps Who could break through the walls As if they were made of twigs Just one bite For you to become One of them Make sure to check under the bed Or the Zombie That was once a friend A different kind of bite Feeding off your flesh But easier to fend off Than the rest Keep emotions under control The Poltergeist Will not be stopped By the man made material You have around you Soul stealing a pleasure For this being that lacks The physical body that was once Useful but now lies in the ground Don’t let the candle go out Must not forget the Vampire Remnants of the fabled Dracula Thirsty Always full of desire To bite into sweet flesh for blood Your life force It is just a dream Or your imagination Is what you keep telling yourself This couldn’t be real There is nothing out there Illusions and shadows playing tricks Just a phantasy and nothing more Behind you Pressure unforeseen Then the darkness of nothing You have been bitten |
